Following the three-day World Championship, the top 12-year-old boys and girls compete in this prestigious one-day team best ball tournament.

The World Van Horn Cup is a highly anticipated one-day event contested immediately following the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. It features the top-performing 12-year-old boys and girls from the World Championship squaring off in a thrilling showcase of talent, teamwork, and international sportsmanship.
Format: Team Best Ball Stroke Play. In each match, the team with the lowest score after 18 holes will win one point for their overall team. If the competition ends in a tie, a playoff will determine the ultimate winner.
Participants are selected based on their score after 36 holes (Round 2) of the World Championship. Once the 36-hole scores are compiled, the Van Horn Cup selections and an alternate list are officially published. Selected players will receive a commemorative golf bag, shirt, hat, and caddie bib patch for the competition.
Awards will be presented to the winners of each individual match, and the prestigious Van Horn Cup trophy will be presented to the winning team after the event. Additionally, each year, the boys and girls pairings with the lowest rounds in the match are awarded a Morrison Medal, named in honor of the late Sir Garth Morrison and his wife Lady Gill Morrison.
