Daichi Hayashi is a gifted junior golfer from Japan who relocated to Malaysia at the age of 10 to pursue both academics and golf development in an international environment. Born in 2010, he has quickly gained attention for his composure, strong course management, and tournament consistency. In the 2025 season, he posted a scoring average of 71.6, demonstrating remarkable control and competitiveness at a young age.

In 2024, Daichi made history by winning the Saujana Amateur Championship in Malaysia at just 14 years old, becoming the youngest champion in the tournament’s history. He followed this up with a 4th place finish at the 2025 Callaway World Junior Championship (15–18 division), where he competed against 168 elite players from over 40 countries.

Known for his sharp short game and calm presence under pressure, Daichi is pursuing his long-term goal of studying at a university in the United States. With tournament experience in over 10 countries and an active WAGR ranking, he is one of Asia’s most promising young golf prospects.
