With over 10 years of teaching experience, Kevin Xi is passionate about golf and youth development. He is highly dedicated, responsible, and committed to helping his students grow both on and off the course.

Kevin not only teaches the fundamentals and techniques of golf, but also focuses on inspiring a genuine love for the sport among young players. He believes in instilling the right sporting spirit and values, and tailors his coaching plans to suit each student’ s age, physical ability, and learning style— helping them steadily progress in the game.

For U.S. Kids Golf tournaments, Kevin designs pre-competition training programs based on both event requirements and the student’s specific needs. This includes targeted practice to improve competitive skills, course familiarization sessions, and rule-specific training. He also works on mental preparation, guiding young players on how to stay calm, confident, and focused under pressure through mental coaching and simulated tournament play.

Currently coaching at V-Kings Golf Academy in Shanghai, Kevin stays up-to-date with the latest developments in golf and modern teaching methods. He continuously refines his programs to improve both the quality and effectiveness of his lessons.

Kevin understands the physical and psychological characteristics of young athletes. He applies age-appropriate teaching methods and communication styles—such as live demonstrations, video analysis, and practice simulations— to help students clearly understand and master golf techniques, while keeping them motivated and engaged.

During training, Kevin closely observes each student’s performance, offers timely corrections, and encourages constant improvement. He also conducts regular progress evaluations and adjusts lesson plans accordingly to ensure steady growth and development.
