With over 15 years of competitive experience in junior, amateur, and professional golf, Woojoo brings a deep understanding of high-level performance and long-term athletic development. Having grown up across multiple countries due to her father's overseas assignments, she learned to adapt quickly to new cultures and environments. This global experience became one of her greatest strengths—allowing her to thrive in international competitions and develop a unique, creative approach to the game.
Woojoo competed as a junior and amateur representative for the Gauteng Province and the South African National Team, consistently ranking No. 1 in both junior and amateur womens' golf in South Africa. Her distinguished playing career includes victories at major international junior events such as the Faldo Series Grand Final and the USA Greg Norman Invitational, as well as podium finishes at US Kids World Championship, Callaway Junior World Championship, and the German Junior Open.
As a coach, Woojoo is passionate, patient, and highly attentive. She draws upon her multicultural background and elite-level playing experience to help young players build confidence, adapt effectively, and develop strong competitive habits. She believes that creativity, adaptability, and a positive mindset are essential elements of long-term success. Woojoo uses age-appropriate communication, clear demonstrations, and modern learning techniques to ensure that students not only improve their skills but also enjoy their journey in golf.
She currently coaches at Leaders Academy, where she focuses on nurturing junior golfers with balanced technical guidance, strategic development, and emotional support. Her goal is to help each player discover and develop their own playing identity while fostering proper values, resilience, and sportsmanship.
