How Do Players Earn Priority Status?
Priority Status by Score
Players can earn Priority Status by score through both Local Tours and Multi-Day Events:
Local Tours
* A player’s two lowest scores, totalled within the same Local Tour season, are used.
* Players must compete in a minimum of four (4) Local Tour events within the same season and on the same Local Tour to earn Priority Status.
Multi-Day Events
* A player’s two lowest scores, totalled within the same Multi-Day Event, are used to determine Priority Status.
Priority Status by Order of Finish
* The player’s two lowest scores combined must total 180 (for 18 holes) or 90 (for 9 holes) or lower.
* Players must compete in at least four (4) Local Tour events within the same season and on the same Local Tour.
* Priority Status by order of finish is determined by the player’s final position at the end of the Local Tour season, not individual tournament results.
Important Notes
* Priority Status by order of finish is used for European, World, and World Teen Championships.
* Players may slightly improve their Local Tour score-based status through order of finish, provided scoring requirements are met.
