Norwegian Professional Golfer & Ladies European Tour Winner
Madelene Stavnar, born on December 9, 2000, in Nøtterøy, Norway, embarked on her professional golf career at an exceptionally young age. As an amateur, she enjoyed a strong 2016 season, reaching the quarter-finals of the Girls’ Amateur Championship, finishing sixth at the French Ladies Amateur, and representing Norway at both the European Girls’ Team Championship and the World Junior Girls Championship.
She earned full status on the Ladies European Tour at just 16 years old after finishing ninth at LET Q School in December 2016, becoming the youngest Norwegian ever to do so. Stavnar has continued to develop steadily on tour, highlighted by her role on the winning team at the 2022 Aramco Team Series – London. She has posted several notable top-10 finishes on the LET as she works toward her breakthrough individual victory.
Madelene Stavnar's early entry into professional golf and her persistent efforts on the Ladies European Tour serve as an inspiration for young Norwegian talents. Her journey highlights the dedication required to compete at the elite level from a young age.
