Two-Time Major Champion & PGA Tour Star
Collin Morikawa played collegiate golf at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2015 to 2019, winning five times. He spent three weeks as the top-ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in May 2018.
Morikawa turned professional in 2019. He had a remarkable start to his PGA Tour career with 22 consecutive made cuts, second only to Tiger Woods. He quickly made waves, winning the Barracuda Championship in his rookie season. Morikawa captured his first major title at the 2020 PGA Championship and followed it up with the 2021 Open Championship, becoming the first player to win on his debut at each of these majors. In 2021, he also became the first American to win the Race to Dubai on the DP World Tour.
Collin Morikawa's rapid ascent in professional golf, marked by major championship victories early in his career, inspires young golfers globally. His journey exemplifies how strong amateur foundations can lead to elite performance at the highest levels of the sport.
