


PGA Tour Winner & Rising Star
Akshay Bhatia was born in Northridge, California, before moving to North Carolina, where he developed into one of the most accomplished American juniors of his generation. He represented the United States in the Junior Presidents Cup (2017), Junior Ryder Cup (2018), and the 2019 Walker Cup—becoming both the youngest player and the first high schooler ever to compete for the U.S. in the Walker Cup. Bhatia was the runner-up at the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur and won a silver medal in the boys’ individual event at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.
Following the Walker Cup, Bhatia turned professional in September 2019, opting to bypass college golf. He made his professional debut at the Sanderson Farms Championship. His rise continued with his first Korn Ferry Tour victory at the 2022 Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, followed by his maiden PGA Tour win at the Barracuda Championship in July 2023. He added another significant milestone with a victory at the 2024 Valero Texas Open, earning a coveted invitation to the Masters Tournament.
